{"id":1150,"date":"2019-08-29T16:26:10","date_gmt":"2019-08-29T16:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arboledawines.com\/?p=1150"},"modified":"2019-09-05T19:06:08","modified_gmt":"2019-09-05T19:06:08","slug":"vina-arboleda-obtiene-doble-distincion-en-sakura-japan-womens-wine-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/backup.arboledawines.com\/en\/vina-arboleda-awarded-with-two-gold-medals-at-sakura-japan-womens-wine-awards-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Vi\u00f1a Arboleda awarded with two Gold Medals at Sakura Japan Women\u2019s Wine Awards 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Two wines from Vi\u00f1a Arboleda have once again been awarded with Gold Medals, after dazzling the Japanese female palate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the latest edition of the Sakura Japan Women\u2019s Wine Awards, a red and a white wine from the winery located in the appellation Aconcagua Valley, were honored after the evaluation of a demanding group of judges which highlighted their excellent pairing potential to Japanese cuisine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arboleda Syrah 2016<\/strong> was praised whit <strong>Gold Medal<\/strong> by the judges, who were surprised by the striking fresh and tasty flavors of this wine, which was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the female judges also opted for the <strong>Chardonnay<\/strong> variety of Arboleda, whose <strong>2017<\/strong> vintage was also granted a <strong>Gold Medal.<\/strong> This wine, coming from the coastal area of the Aconcagua Valley, stands out for its great balance and its elegant and delicate structure, qualities that make it a great wine to pair with Japanese cuisine as well.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two wines from Vi\u00f1a Arboleda have once again been awarded with Gold Medals, after dazzling the Japanese female palate.
